1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 XL

She still isn't driveable yet but she's getting there! I only have a few more things left to do until I can start her up.

Here's a list of car specs:
- 390ci FE engine
- Original Ford Tri Power induction setup
- 406 cast iron shorty headers
- Rebuilt C3AE-C heads
- .536 INT and .562 EXH lift cam... pretty rad for what's going to be a daily driver huh?
- Original 427 dual point distributor
- Race Ready header dumps (for that wonderful open header sound... perfect for waking up the neighborhood late at night or just setting off car alarms in parking garages)
- C6 Automatic
- 9" rearend with 4.57's gears in the back (at least that's what I was told by the person I bought the car from...I haven't checked to make sure yet)
- Moroso 9qt oil pan
- Howe aluminum radiator from Crites with dual electric fans
- Transmission cooler from Summit

Some of my future plans for the car, aside from stomping the local imports, are to add some Radir wheels, a fiberglass teardrop hood, and most deffinately a disc brake conversion. I'm still not sure what color I want to paint her though. I'm trying to decide between a new Ford Yellow (the shade you see on the new Explorer Sport Trac's) or a Mopar Sublime Green from 1970. I've been playing around with the idea of primered black with some huge flames in the front too. I also plan to update the C6 with a 3,000rpm stall converter, a shift kit and a reverse manual valve body.
